Lazy Magnolia Summer Concert Series with Porter Avenue Bistro 2010-08-18 Lazy Magnolia will be working with our friends at Porter Avenue Bistro starting Wednesday, July 28, hosting a month-long summer concert series featuring local musicians every Wednesday through August 18. We'll start out on the 28th with Star and Micey, JB Whalen, and Jeremy Stanfill around 9:00 pm. We'll be giving away a case of pints each week, so come early before they run out! Snowden Beer Festival 2010-08-07 The first-ever Snowden Beer Festival will take place at Snowden Grove Park in Southaven, MS on August 7, 2010. This one day festival will offer over 70 beers for sampling, which will include varietals from our little brewery Lazy Magnolia. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster or at the Snowden Grove box office, and the cost will be $30 or $35 on the day of the event. Y'all go ahead and purchase your tickets now for this worthwhile fundraiser for the Taste of Desoto, a non-profit organization that benefits the American Liver Foundation.

Top of the Hops- Jackson Beer Festival 2010-07-31

Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company is very happy to sponsor the first Craft Beer Festival in Mississippi! We've been waiting for an event like Top of the Hops in our State for a while, so tell your friends! Let's make this a big one!

Top of the Hops - Jackson Beer Festival will be the first craft beer festival atmosphere in our State. Mississippians and our neighbors will have a wonderful chance to experience a day with the Craft Brew Industry that has been growing like kudzu across the United States. The day will include samples of over 150 brews from all over our nation and abroad. Top of the Hops will also present a Brew University Education Area. The BUEA will have lectures on Beer and Food Pairings, Cooking with Beer, Home Brewing, and others.

In anticipation of the festival, LMBC in conjunction with Raise Your Pints will host several events across the State in promotion of Top of the Hops. We will also be holding on-line contests during the weeks leading up to July 31 with prize giveaways including merchandise and FREE TICKETS! Stay tuned to LazyMagnolia.com, our FaceBook page, and Twitter for promotion and contest announcements.

Mississippi Craft Beer Week 2010-07-31 We are so proud of Raise Your Pints and Governor Haley Barbour! This organizational and governmental team officially proclaimed the week of July 24-31, Mississippi's first, state-wide Craft Beer Week! Many states across our great nation have Craft Beer Weeks...why not Mississippi? Well, the long-awaited answer to that question is, "Now, we do!"
Raise Your Pints will be hosting several craft beer events around the state during MCBW 2010 beginning Saturday, July 24, with a Lazy Magnolia Cask Ale Tasting at Keg and Barrel in Hattiesburg and culminating the following Saturday, July 31, with Mississippi’s first-ever beer festival, the Top of the Hops Beer Festival in Jackson, MS. The week will include promotional events every night! Check out the schedule on Facebook, and pay close attention to our announcements everyday to stay informed about what's coming up that evening!
