Joan Parmelee, Office Manager
Although she’s a California gal, Joan has
found her way to the Mississippi Gulf Coast
and has lived in Diamondhead, MS, for
about 10 years. Leaving behind the frenzied
pace of practicing law, she works in the
Lazy Magnolia business office.
Joan enjoys anything tropical--the beach,
gardening, travel to exotic islands, and
interior decorating. She and her dog-ter,
Katie Bob, enjoy sporting around in their
new red convertible!

Kevin Stuart, Packaging Line
Manager
Kevin was born in Lancaster, CA. He
graduated from UC Davis in 1985 with a
degree in Fermentation Science just as the
microbrewery revolution was starting in
the US. After graduating he signed on
with R.H. Phillips Winery in Yolo County,
CA, working in the cellar. About a year
later, he made the big move to New
Orleans to work as Assistant Brewmaster
at Dixie Brewing Company. He was
promoted to Brewmaster in 1990 and
remained at Dixie until Hurricane Katrina
destroyed the facility. Kevin is now
continuing his brewing career at Lazy
Magnolia. He lives in Waveland, MS.

Team Leader
Darren hails from Orange County,
California, and moved to the Coast
about 7 years ago. He's married to
Renee, a pastry chef, and they have
a 3-year-old daughter. He's been a
home brewer for the last 6-1/2
years and is now enjoying his work
at Lazy Magnolia.
