Harvest Moon is our Fall Seasonal; a Bock beer brewed in
the German tradition, utilizing the lagering technique of
conditioning to bring out a very smooth, distinctive
character. Harvest Moon is conditioned for over three
months, creating a malty aroma and full-bodied experience.
The hops used in the Harvest Moon are used to offset the
sweetness of the malt profile. The timely brewing process
results in an unforgettable beer.
The Story Behind Harvest Moon Bock
Head Brewer Gar Hatcher developed the Harvest Moon
recipe back in his days as Assistant Brewer under the
tutelage of Brewster Leslie Henderson. Gar's task was
difficult, but the goal was clear . . . to create a smooth,
full-bodied Bock beer utilizing the techniques he learned
from his mentor. The result was a success, and now Harvest
Moon is among the most sought after, best-selling seasonal
offerings by Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company.
Sales Information
Harvest Moon is a very special beer for Lazy Magnolia due
to the lengthy conditioning time. With limited space and
storage capacity, we brew this beer for the many beer fans
that shared their passion with us. Our customers note
similarities to other commercially available Bocks in the
region such as Shiner Bock.

We don't tell people what to like, we just give them great choices!
