Do you sell bottles? Yes, we do bottle our flagship beer,
Southern Pecan. And, yes, in time we will bottle other flavors of
Lazy Magnolia beers. And while we still produce Party Pigs, the
bottling has some effect on the production of Party Pigs. Pigs
remain popular since you still can't take bottles to the beach or out
on the river. We are striving hard to meet the great demand for
bottles and pigs and we appreciate your continued support of our
products!
Can I come over and watch a brew? The short answer is
"No." Our insurance company would frown on putting innocent
bystanders in danger with all of the hot liquids, moving equipment,
cleaning chemicals, and loud noises going on during operations.
However, we do offer tours on Saturday mornings at 10:30 when
things are quiet (and safe). There's also a virtual tour on our web
site.
Can I buy beer at the brewery? No. At least not until the laws
change in Mississippi. We are not allowed to sell beer to anyone
except licensed distributors. This means we can't even sell our
beer to grocery stores and bars. It's the "Three-Tier System" and
it is the law in Mississippi. Louisiana has a different set of laws.
You can purchase non-alcohol merchandise from us though--
shirts, caps, glasses, even home-brew supplies.
Do you have a tasting room? No. Again, Mississippi state law
does not allow us to have a tasting room at the brewery. There
are several restaurants nearby that offer taster-sized samples of
our beer.
Do you have a pub at the brewery? No. Beer is not served at
the brewery. Beer is not sold at the brewery. Check out our Pub
